I’ve seen them on 6 foot beds in the past, so I was confused. I sat down with the sales people to spec out a Ram for special order, but was surprised to hear them tell me that Ram boxes aren’t available on the 6’4” bed. It was my second test drive in a Ram, the first was a few months ago, but this time I drove one with the e-Torque engine. The smooth or ‘down’ side comes to us with surface scratches from the manufacturing process.I took a 20 for a test drive this past weekend. One Side is a textured finish (up) and the other side (down) is smooth. ABS plastic remains hard, rigid and tough at low and high temperatures. ABS offers a good balance of impact, heat, chemical and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, tensile strength, surface hardness, rigidity and electrical characteristics. We make all of our dividers out of 1/4″ ABS plastic. This cargo management system was designed and manufactured here in the United States and is yet another offering from our growing family owned business. The Dividers and Hatches in this is system is designed with “play” because we found that the plastic liners of the RamBox can swell and shrink a bit with changes in weather, some “play” or wiggle is intentional.
